Hello!
Natalie Cullen is the artist and surface pattern designer behind Dot and Bloom, a studio devoted to creating hand-drawn, whimsical patterns rooted in nature and nostalgia. Her work is known for its loose linework, thoughtful composition, and soft expressive storytelling style. Each design begins by hand, inspired by florals, cherished memories, and the quiet beauty of everyday life.
Before launching Dot and Bloom, Natalie spent over a decade in digital and UX design. That foundation shapes her work today, blending artistry with intention and creativity with strategy. She understands not only how something should look, but how it should feel and function in the spaces and products people use every day.
Natalie partners with brands through licensing collaborations, creating distinctive, emotionally resonant collections that translate seamlessly across product categories and help brands build deeper customer connection. She also works directly with homeowners and designers, offering thoughtfully curated wallpaper and fabric along with customization options that make each space feel personal and considered.
She believes that the patterns we surround ourselves with influence how we feel. A room can spark joy. A textile can evoke memory. A thoughtfully designed product can create connection.
At its heart, Dot and Bloom exists to bring warmth, charm, and meaningful beauty into both homes and brands, helping people feel more at ease, more inspired, and more connected.
